Also make sure to cover the pavement under where you are working and have plenty of shop rags handy because it can/will get messy. It may have taken me a good 10-15 minutes and I was getting frustrated with the lack of progress, but then I started to see some gradual improvement and then finally got it back to normal. It will not go away quickly or easily - you just have to keep working on it. My driver side door is making a noise when opening and closing the driver side door. Make sure to spray in it from the top, bottom and sides - spray it around and on anything where the metal parts are moving against each other and all the bushings as well. You basically have to soak the hinges, pins and mechanism with the spray lubricant and keep working it in. It took some time and a whole lot of white lithium spray lubricant and repeatedly working the door back and forth, open and close but I finally got rid of the jerky action and popping noises and the door back to working smoothly / normal. You can inspect the door hinge to see if it needs to be replaced or just needs some maintenance.
